Associate UX Designer – Human-Centered Product Design | Acton, MA (Hybrid)

Eastridge Workforce Solutions is seeking an Associate UX Designer for a contract opportunity with a leading medical device manufacturing partner. This role supports digital product design across customer-facing platforms that help improve lives through better healthcare experiences.

Location: Acton, MA

Pay: $35 – $42 per hour, depending on experience

Employment Type: Temporary, Full-Time

Work Model: Hybrid (on-site collaboration required)

What You’ll Do:

• Support the design of web-based and cross-platform digital experiences through user flows, wireframes, mockups, and prototypes
• Collaborate with senior UX designers, engineers, and product managers to translate requirements into design solutions
• Assist in usability testing and user research; apply findings to support inclusive, human-centered design decisions
• Contribute to the evolution of design systems, including component design and documentation
• Ensure accessibility and usability best practices are embedded throughout your design work
• Use design tools such as Figma , Miro , and Confluence to create, organize, and present design deliverables
• Participate in design critiques and team meetings; receive and apply constructive feedback
• Assist with documentation and support design QA during development cycles

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong interest in user-centered design and eagerness to grow professionally in the UX space
• Strong visual and interaction design instincts; detail-oriented and creative
• Collaborative communicator open to feedback and new ideas
• Organized, self-motivated, and comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting
• Curious and proactive approach to problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Design, Psychology, or related field—or equivalent experience
• 0–2 years of UX or product design experience (academic projects and internships welcome)
• Familiarity with tools like Figma , Adobe Creative Cloud , or similar design platforms
• Exposure to usability principles and user research methods
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating creativity, design thinking, and attention to user needs
• Interest in designing for web and mobile platforms; healthcare or regulated industry experience is a plus
• Willingness to work onsite in Acton, MA as part of a hybrid model
