Director of Housekeeping Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead housekeeping staff, including training and performance evaluations
• Develop and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and infection control practices
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify areas for improvement
• Respond promptly to resident and staff housekeeping requests or concerns
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate cleaning activities and support overall operations
• Maintain records and reports related to housekeeping activities
• Uphold confidentiality and professionalism in handling resident information
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience in housekeeping management, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
