**Job Title: Electronics Technician** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician to join our team in Goleta, CA. The successful candidate will perform various technical functions to support development engineering activities, including setup, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical systems. The role involves working with experimental design circuitry, prototype models, and specialized test equipment across analog, digital, and video circuits and logic systems. **Responsibilities** + Conduct engineering and development tests, as well as detailed experimental testing to collect design data or assist in general research work. + Diagnose and correct electronic circuitry malfunctions. + Assist in the development of electronic equipment and provide design details. + Recommend modifications to engineering designs as needed. + Prepare instructional guides for repairing, calibrating, and maintaining equipment and systems. + Possibility of up to 10% travel based on program needs. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in electronics, electrical, soldering, harnessing, and blueprint reading. + Experience with circuit testing and test equipment. + Ability to troubleshoot and work from diagrams, drawings, and detailed procedures. + Proficiency with Microsoft Office and schematic reading. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Harnessing/Crimping certification to J or NASA-Standards. + Expertise in operating electrical and non-electrical manufacturing equipment. + Skillful use of hand tools including crimpers, drills, taps, torque wrenches, power tools, and air tools. + Experience working with adhesives, chemical cleaners, coating materials, and other chemicals used in manufacturing. + Ability to take direction from multiple sources and manage time effectively to meet daily milestones and longer-term project commitments. **Why Work Here?** Join a leading developer and provider of solar array systems to the global space market.
