Job Description Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology. Capable of utilizing Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes. Experienced in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. Solid foundation in, and application of, data warehousing and reporting platform concepts with ability to recommend solutions and drive best practices. Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments is preferred. Develop ETL mappings to extract data from a source data system (databases, files, etc.), transform the data based on business requirements and load the data into a target data system (databases, files, etc.). Conduct performance tuning of the mappings developed to ensure that the data is extracted, transformed, and loaded in a reasonable amount of time based on the requirements. Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed. Work on multiple phases of the Development Life Cycle (requirements, design, development, testing and deployment) of BI Dashboard and reports. Develop required documentation in support of the development life cycle.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Experience and desire to execute complex extraction, transformation, and load of large diverse datasets using Python and other languages as needed
- Must be a strong written and verbal communicator
- 8+ years of ETL work experience
- 5+ years Python development experience
- 1+ years Agile project experience
- Must be able to write SQL queries to pull data from the MySQL, Postgres & SQL Server databases.
- 1+ years of working knowledge of Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, Git, Gitflow, CI/CD Pipelines, Jira, PowerBI, Splunk, DBeaver and Visual Studio Code.
- 1 + years of experience developing and/or working in an Amazon Workspace environment
- 1+ years of experience in querying and retrieving data from a Lucene based index.
- BS in Computer Science or similar technical.
- Experience creating tools, platforms, and environments for demos, product testing, and software releases.
- Experience creating products, utilities, scripts, and tools to automate builds, deployment, and testing.
- Experience building and maintaining development and testing environments and production-equivalent staging environments.
- Experience troubleshooting operational tests, releases, software defects, and other issues.
- Must have strong problem solving and analytical skills, as well as the ability to develop business requirements and specifications
- Ability to work on problems of limited scope and conduct analysis of data processes
- Ability to work independently to complete project activities; possessing initiative to address issues and opportunities
- Flexible and able to work under tight schedules to meet deadlines
- Ability to implement solutions and identify operational or management issues
- Creative, collaborative, team-oriented
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer and Information Security, Computer Security, and/or Network Administration from an accredited university/college.
Minimum/General Experience: Recent work experience as a senior-level or technical lead in a related position on a major program, project, or activity. A minimum of seven (7) years recent experience in the direct performance of a major program, project, or activity relating to computer software development at the user and kernel level, computer programming, and /or computer digital forensics.
Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $130355 - $221603

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
